We also went across to the lake to see some girls rowing and to an apple festival north of Canberra in the afternoon where we got a big bottle of fresh apple juice.
On Sunday we had a morning walk up Mt Ainslie and a wine tasting in the afternoon which was a very enjoyable event.
Although the Tavs were away, we caught up with the Covs who were visiting. I also met Barbara, a family history connection and we had pizza with Annabel, a distant cousin of both sides.
We also visited Dave and Jane on their property north of Canberra and had some interesting discussion.
The Paris Exhibition was great and we returned to the gallery to look at other impressionist paintings later, which added to the experience.
I also enjoyed the Dunera Boys exhibition at the National Library and we had a look at a copy of London for the Disabled, which Sheena co-authored.
