Green continues despite hot spell

Speaking of rain, things have been very green here recently, although we have only had odd mms.

The past few days have been the hottest of the summer and I have worried that we would shrivel in a heap but the cool change came in last night and some promise of imminent rain has appeared. So I mowed the grass this morning and mulched the vegies.

Not much watering has been done in the past busy week.

The paddock vegetation is becoming quite interesting as it recovers. I think there is a range of species, not all of which are weeds. I must investigate more closely.
