December 2019 the virus starts in Wuhan
We moved Em from Ipswich to Boggo Road on 22 January, parkrun at St Lucia 26th with Em and stayed at her apartment.
31st January Persian class started at U3A
29th Philosophy class at the Boyce Garden was the one and only for the year as Greg changed it to Friday mornings.
From February 4 we watched the Diamond Princess cruise ship at Yokohama with cases.
Feb 8 we went to Brisbane and clock collectors the next day. Lee was up for work so we discussed our ideas for our trip to Europe.
Around mid February I spent a couple of days planning our trip with a view to booking by the end of February.
Feb 22 was Dicks 150th parkrun and Em came up for it. We discussed the trip and were ready to go with bookings, flying via Singapore to Zurich, train to Milan [parkrun], Dolomites, train north to Munich [parkrun], scenic trains in the Alps, Bavaria, Lyon?, London. Moreton-in-Marsh [parkrun] etc.
Hang on there is an outbreak in northern Italy, let's just wait a few days.
23 Feb Rhonda revived the planning weekend discussion.  I had been counting on it for 4/5 April as discussed in October. the date got moved out to Anzac weekend s I was going to missout and spent at least a couple of weeks feeling aggrieved.
I was Front of House at Rep two Mondays 17th and 24th and conscious of sharing food in a time of virus the second time.
26th February I hurt my back at Franke Scrub and spent a couple of days in bad spasm. Got to the physio on Friday, but missed Persian, volunteered at parkun Saturday and Rep play with Barbara on Saturday night.
March
I missed the walk on Tuesday due to my injury. Another physio visit on Friday and I ran on Saturday. It was International Womens Day with breakfast at parkrun.
Tuesday10th we walked at Jeannie Creek.
12th I helped with Choral Hall cleaning but did not hang around much. Italy and Girls weekend were off for me but Therese talked about going to Cook Islands, eisteddfod was still on and we were going to Canberra.
Friday 13th there was one Covid case at Kingaroy. Started reading about social distancing and using hand gel when we were out.
Saturday 14th Dick was RD and we had coffee at Urban Cup. In the afternoon we went to Neils Memorial at Picnic Point and were consciously trying to social distance although no-one else was apart from Denise. Barry and Donna did not turn up. Ann and Keith also stayed away [Donna had rung them, her daughter in Emergency Dept at the Hospital being proactive on their comorbidities]
Clock collectors on Sunday 15th we went but were wary. It turned out to be well organised with hand sanitiser etc. Another vulnerable group.
Barry put out a discussion email about continuing to walk and we decided to walk on 17th with no car pooling although we took Owen. Barbara opted to take her own car. Only about 10 of us at Crows Nest NP.
18th March We went out to the golf club and voted in the council election. Surprised to see people not keeping distance and having coffee. We took our own pencils. I had my dental checkup.
19th we got the Forester serviced for Em. 2 cases at Kingaroy and Warwick.

21 March Parkrun was cancelled worldwide but some of us met at Urban Cup for breakfast to support Donna the owner, but I was pretty nervous when Steve and Narelle turned up with guests from the coast and Jonathon and Tamara brougth their new baby and handed it around. Em was with us for her birthday celebration and we had run the old course at Kratzke Oval at 7am with Steve Donald, all keeping distance. He was already moving to work from home. 6 cases on the Darling Downs.
We were going to leave for Canberra on Sunday but training with Red Running Bear was cancelled so no rush. Dick had the camping gear out ready to put in the car but it had become apparent that we might not get back if we went.
