Orchard Road

I initially planned this walk from Google Earth and we went out to see how it was on the ground. I have walked in this area west of Perseverance Dam with the Tuesday group a couple of years ago but this time it was nice and soft after rain. We followed a track all the way and it was an enjoyable walk, though not challenging, as we mostly stayed on the contour of two ridges with a descent at the eastern end. Total distance was nearly 7 km.
In the afternoon we dealt with our weekly pile of mulch which I collect on Saturdays while Dick is playing golf.
It is spring planting time and I have at least 10 plants to put out which is always fun.
