Although I retired 4 years ago, I accompanied Dick to the QSuper retirement preparation seminar to see what we might find out. Most of the speakers were good and it was an opportunity to focus on these things. We then sat down to the Federal budget with focussed attention and discovered that our middle class welfare had been identified and remedied, which is probably a good thing.
Since then Dick has joined the golf club and otherwise we are getting on with life as usual, but well prepared when the day arrives, whenever that may be.
I enjoyed walking around the course with him and helping him get his gear in order, but have so far avoided getting out my clubs. I fear the bug might bite me once more.
