Weeding

The bluegrass is coming back on the paddock and I have done a lot of weeding of various things which seem to be competing with it. This resulted in a rather large pile which Dick dealt with, using the mower for some of it and putting some through the mulcher. Instead of compost bins full of dry fibrous matter, we filled two with green fine stuff and left the third bay empty for more.
Unfortunately the weeded paddock is not getting the rain we had hoped for.
Our new strategy to encourage blue grass is to mow more regularly. Dick has been doing this while I weed.
