Walks

Tuesday walks started again in February with our traditional easy walk around Prince Henry Heights. We hope to get rain on this walk each year, as an insurance against wet Tuesdays for the rest of the year. It did not quite eventuate, but it was nice to see everyone again after the break.
Last week we walked around Mt Perseverance, again quite a short walk. We also had a look at the mill site at the end of the tramway before enjoying our lunch and Sam's birthday cake on Rosalie's verandah.
This week we had more birthdays to celebrate - Elina and Graham - and I also had a large watermelon [from Vicki] which was very nice. We walked on the ridge above Grapetree creek and visited our sandstone caves looking north to Perseverance Heights, then had lunch at Hampton. Meanwhile it had rained just south of us, as we drove back to Toowoomba on wet roads.
