Mt Matheson

This is a really nice day out. It takes 2 hours from Toowoomba to the Spicers Gap campground then it is a lovely varied walk along below Mt Mitchell and above the Cunningham Hwy, then across to the old convict road over Spicers Gap. We stopped for lunch at Governors Chair with lovely views and all to ourselves, especially as Dick and Barry had to walk on to collect cars and most people's lunches. So we missed the walk down the road back to the cars this time.
