Mt Mee weekend

We camped at Neurum Creek camp ground at Mt Mee north of Brisbane for 2 nights. Em drove up from Brisbane and we came via the north entrance from Kilcoy. It was an interesting drive on Friday afternoon, crossing Somerset Dam towards the top of it and heading up a somewhat rough dirt road into the Forest Park. We took the Impreza and it only just made it with the low clearance.
It was a Tba Bushwalkers activity and Henry West was camped already. We were able to have a dip in the creek and a pleasant evening.
Next morning the rest of the group arrived and we headed out for the walk which took us up to a wonderful outlook to the west over Somerset Dam.
Unfortunately a large group came to party on Saturday night but we survived it.
On Sunday we did short walks before heading off after lunch via Mt Mee and Dayboro. It was a nice drive home.
