Learning about birds

This term, I am learning about birds at U3A with my bushwalking friend Neil.
It is a great opportunity to look at our collection of bird books and CDs which have been largely neglected over the years.
We have a notebook with bird entries commencing on 20 Dec 1973, January, May, August, September and October 1974, then jumping to November 1999.
Some things have continuing interest, especially in our current retired situation with extended native garden, bushwalking and travel.
Today we move to our next piece of technology with a phone app. - the first purchased app.
Last Thursday we visited the waterbird habitat, and today we went to Webb Park, on the escarpment above Redwood Park.
