Yesterday we did an alternate descent into Redwood Park. Once again it was a wet morning but only occasional light showers so we took raincoats. We really enjoyed the walk down to the creek and found the bridges in good order.
We then joined the Eagles Nest track and went down to the junction with Grass Tree track back up to the bridle trail, returning in reverse to our previous walk a couple of weeks ago.
Total distance was 5.9 km and we enjoyed it more than the climb up from Gatton Creek to Prince Henry Drive.
We were back in time for the Davis Cup on TV due to start at 11 but with rain delays in Cairns we only got a brief bit of tennis around 5pm.
